Naples Renaissance Fall Art Festival
Nov. 24 & 25, 2007
10 am to 5 pm
10th Street South (near the Naples Depot and future site of the Renaissance Village)
An invitational, juried festival for 130 artists selling their original watercolors, paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry and more.
A perfect opportunity to find that one-of-a-kind holiday gift for someone special. Food vendors and entertainment will be provided.
A suggested donation of $2 benefits the Naples Art Association at The von Liebig Art Center, the festival host.
The Naples Art Association has selected a Featured Artist and a Developing Artist to spotlight during the festival. The Featured Artist is Gerry Brynjulson of Naples. Featured Artists are established artists who are pursuing a new medium or who are new to the Naples juried art festival scene. The Developing Artist is Emily Gerrity, a 17-year-old senior at Gulf Coast High School. Developing Artists are usually young, talented artists at the beginning stages of their careers or “second career” artists who retired from other work and are now pursuing their passion for art. Developing Artists must have a thematic body of work and a large enough inventory to begin the process of participating in national shows. The NAA’s goal is to encourage Developing Artists to continue to pursue their art careers, expose them to new audiences and potential buyers, and provide festival attendees with fresh viewpoints and artwork to enjoy.
