Founded in 1954 as a non profit 501c3 visual arts organization, the Naples Art Association's mission is to advance and promote education, interest and participation in the visual arts.

The NAA's von Liebig Art Center's season offers a wide variety of high quality exhibition and education programs for the Naples community and southwest Florida. With more than 38,000 people visiting the Art Center in the first year the Association far exceeded its projections and continues to do so.

Many of the von Liebig Art Center's programs and events are available for sponsorship.

The NAA von Liebig Art Center receives support through individual and corporate contributions and the State of Florida, Division of Cultural Affairs. In 1999, the State of Florida officially designated the Center as a "Cultural Sponsoring Organization and approved matching funds for its newly formed endowment campaign to sustain the von Liebig Art Center and its programs for the future.
